Here's a quick card I whipped up today. I used the Cricut Imagine with the Imagine More Cards art cart. This was beyond easy to put together, and came out super quick. I cut the image layers out at 4 1/2 inches (relative size) and the patterned paper at 5 inches (filling the square shape on the Imagine with one of the patterns on the cart). Then I used a 5x5 sized card at the base. All I did was adhere and added some dimensional adhesive. Here are some more pics.

So another example of how quick and easy a project can get put together using the Imagine. It took me about 10-15 min to have the card complete, almost a record I think, lol.
Thanks for stopping by. Next projects I'm working on are a New Years Banner for a party we are having on Friday and a recipe book using Kate's Kitchen. Hope to complete one for tomorrow so I can get another post in this week.
Till next time.

So I was finally able to complete a project today!
When I first got the Cricut Imagine I was so intrigued by using printable vinyl. Before the Imagine came out I never heard of it before, though I am sure it was out there. And once I saw the artwork for the Kate's Kitchen cart I knew I wanted to print and apply some of these images to my kitchen cabinets. This was such an easy way to decorate and add a personal touch to our apartment.
The images on this cart are beyond cute. Reminds me of the 50's, and I love the retro look. I cut these various images anywhere between 6 - 6 1/2 inches on the Imagine. I worried that they may bleed if they got wet, always a concern in the kitchen. So I used SuperSeal Spray from Creative Imaginations. It worked well and did not smudge the printed design. The bottle states it is inkjet safe. I got a little sloppy with the spraying because I was working in a small indoor space, so there are some little bubbles on some of the prints. I have used this spray before and works well when you can spray outside, but with the blizzard we got in the city over the last day I can barely open my door and step outside, lol.
Here are a bunch of pics of the project.

I really love how this came out and so glad I got a project done that I have been meaning to do for awhile. It took me awhile to find the Kate's Kitchen cart and find time to do the project all at once. But one good thing about a blizzard you can stay home and get some stuff done, lol.
Thanks for stopping by and please comment and become a follower if you like. Till next time!

Hello All! Wow, I haven't posted in a long while. Seems like life got in the way of my blogging, lol. I ended up having a crazy last 6 weeks, with work, school, and family. And sad to say life also got in the way of crafting. I haven't worked on a project in awhile. But things seems to be clearing up nicely now, and I am off for the next three days and hope to get my crafting mojo back in full swing, along with blog posting!
I have a bunch of new Cricut Carts to play with. 3 Imagine carts, and about 5 regular carts! I also got my guy a Cricut Cake Mini for Xmas (he loves baking), so we have another Cricut machine in our arsenal to play with, lol.
SO I am doing a quick post today to get back in the habit, but also to share some info. I was looking around Joanns site (which I probably do about once a day) and I found three Cricut carts I never heard of or seen anything about. Here are the pics from Joanns.
Anyone have any info on these? I wonder if they are exclusive to Joanns? The Formal Occasion looks like a great carts, and would love to see the handbooks for all three. Here are the links to the Joanns site.
Hopefully we can get some more info soon because the carts are onsale right now for $44.99.
Thanks for stopping by and plan to keep my little blog a little more updated as the New Year begins!
