Tree Hugger Layout!

Did a little bit of crafting today and finally got a scrapbook layout done, minus the photos. I saw this layout on The Everyday Cricut Blog. I love this blog and visit often! It used to be called Christmas with the Cricut and Holidays With the Cricut. You can visit it here!

I saw this project about a month ago, and knew I would have to copy it! It was created by one of their guest designers at Everyday Cricut named Monique Griffith. She has an amazing blog as well with really great projects and ideas, here blog is: Monkey Doodle Cricut

Here the direct link to the post on Everyday Cricut that had the idea and instructions for the

I didn't have the exact papers that she used but found some stuff I had that worked out great. All the cuts are made with the Give a Hoot cart for the Cricut. I used the Green Stack from Die Cuts With a View. This stack really works well with all of the images on the Give a Hoot cart. Used DCWV cardstock as well.

Here is the left page by itself.

All the cutting dimensions can be found on the link for the Tree Hugger post on Everyday Cricut. This was a really fun project to complete. It was pretty quick to put together once I pick out the colors I wanted the die cuts to be.

The Give a Hoot cuts are very easy to put together. The layers are simple to construct the final piece. Most of the cuts had 4 - 5 layers. So when adhered together they have a nice dimension to them and remind me of a 3D sticker or chipboard embellishment.

Even though this was not my original design I am really loving it. I hope to continue to make layouts like this using my Cricut. I would have never thought to put all these different elements from the cart into a double scrapbook page. Hopefully you will get some inspiration like I did as well.
