Happy Birthday Card Using Cricut Imagine & Yummy Art Cart

Quick and simple Birthday Card using the Cricut Imagine and The Yummy Art cart. This cart is perfect for Birthday cards! So many cute designs and sayings.

I printed these on Recollections white cardstock and used a sheet of paper, as the background, from the Die Cuts With A View Kitchen Stack. The Kitchen Stack complements this cart very well.

For the cake I printed and cut out the image without any layers first, the base image grouped together. And then I added the frosting and candle layers to the base, adhering them with dimensional adhesive. I didn't add all the layers of the image, just the ones I thought stood out most.

Here's some more pics:

Another view (love all the sparkles)

I inked around the edges of the cuts with some distress ink to give it a little more pop. This was a super quick and easy card to put together. So far I am enjoying having the Cricut Imagine at my disposal. It hasn't given me any problems yet, know on wood. And I look forward to the new updates and carts that will be coming out as they expand the machine.
