Kate's Kitchen Recipe Project (Cricut Imagine & Kate's Kitchen)

Here's my latest project. This was so fun to do! I used the Cricut Imagine and the Kate's Kitchen art cart. I made this recipe project to give to a great friend who loves to cook. I started this project and was finally able to complete it today.

For this project I used the Kate's Kitchen art cart and the From My Kitchen cart. The recipe album is one of the bonus cuts from the Kate's Kitchen. I cut that image at the Fit to Page feature, so don't know the true size. This cut the front, back and to recipe cards on a 12x12 piece of paper. I also cut two additional recipe cards from the bonus section of the cart 2 times for a total of 4 other recipe cards, an overall total of 6 recipe cards. For these cuts I cut them out at 8.2 inches true size, this was size that most matched a true 4x6 recipe card.

I embellished these recipe cards with image cuts from the Kate's cart. These were all cut at 2inches at true size. These printed and cut so well, and came out so cute. I broke the layers up to get the exact pieces I wanted. For the word art I used the words from From My Kitchen cart, cut them at 1 inch and colored them in with the Imagine and colors from the Kate's cart, this way they matched really well.

I had some kitchy recipe cards I had gotten at Michales in the dollar bin and have been meaning to use these forever. This was the perfect project for them. I used the Big Bite to punch holes through the recipe cards and put all the pieces together with a couple of jump rings.

Here are some more pics

Back of recipe project

I was able to fit 30 recipe cards in this little project, 5 behind each embellished recipe card. The bonus cut has a little stand that you attach to the back of the recipe card. I am so surprised, but it really holds it up, which makes it functional and can be used as a decor.

Till next time!!!
