Finally Some New Cards!

Wow, I haven't posted in awhile. Been super busy as of late. But was able to relax today and make a couple new cards.


The last time I placed an order from CTMH for myself I saw these two stamps sets called Tree Tops and True Happiness (I used these for cards shown here) and I loved them. They are such a great design. And will go well with a lot of the nature scrapbooking supplies that seem to be a hot trend right now.

For the card above I stamped the images in Versamark and chalked over the image. I haven't chalked on a project in years. But held a gathering recently and one of the girls ordered some chalk, and I thought to myself I really need to dust my chalk off and put it to use. I forgot what an ease they are to use, and the finished project looks so pretty. I can tell after finishing this card I will be keeping the chalks out of the drawer and on the table so I can use them often.

For the above card I used both stamp sets for the card.



For this next card I just used the Treetops stamps set. I really like how this one came out. Used three different green inks and the same brown for the trunks. To make the card stand out a little more I used some pop dots/foam adhesive. Using dimensional adhesive really adds a great touch to any project, especially cards. I doubled up the tree in the middle so it can really stand out. The pic below shows how it looks on its side.
